mEET LUKE
Luke is the founder of LWD Builders and remains hands-on as the lead builder on site, bringing experience, leadership, and a practical approach to every project.
His career in construction began straight out of school, quickly developing into a genuine passion for the trade. What started as an early pathway into building has grown into a career defined by craftsmanship, attention to detail, and a strong belief in doing things properly.
With over 15 years on the tools — including 8 years as a foreman delivering award-winning, high-end homes in Auckland — Luke has built a reputation for quality workmanship and the ability to lead teams on complex residential projects.
Seeking a better lifestyle for their young family, Luke and his wife moved back to the Bay of Plenty, where LWD Builders was established. Since then, he has brought that same high standard of building to projects across the region.
Luke remains closely involved throughout every build, working alongside clients, architects, and trusted trades to ensure each project is delivered with care, precision, and the level of finish LWD Builders is known for.
